Solar Laboratory
What is the role of the solar laboratory?
The Solar Laboratory is the main meeting place for students interested in renewable energy. It offers a common room and workspaces for teaching and research in the field of sustainable Energy Technology, e.g. computer workstations for Master’s students undertaking research, and for writing final assignments or project reports. In addition, practical workstations are available for small electrical tasks and set-ups, e.g. prototypes, test benches, etc.
However, the laboratory also has a cosy seating area for socialising, complete with a kitchenette and a coffee machine. The terrace is also very popular; as well as all sorts of solar technology, it features seating and a barbecue.
