Aptitude test for the EI master's degree programme
The aptitude assessment takes the form of an interview. Its purpose is to assess whether applicants meet the specific entry requirements for this master's degree programme.
This will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your analytical and problem-solving skills, your reasoning and communication skills, and your methodological and interpersonal skills.
We will also assess your foundational knowledge of mathematics, science and subject-specific concepts, as well as your understanding of the behaviour of complex technical systems, using questions from the fields of electrical engineering and information technology.
All applicants must pass the aptitude assessment. However, this requirement may be waived if the applicant has an overall grade of 2.2 or higher and has earned at least 120 ECTS credits in STEM modules.
Once we have reviewed the applications received, you will be informed in writing if you are invited to take part in the selection process.
If your application is rejected, you may apply again at a later date. A third application is not permitted.
When: usually around four weeks after the application deadline.
Where: generally in person in a room on the Lothstraße Campus.
Duration: around 30 minutes.
The venue and time will be stated in the invitation letter.
